Synopsis

After being transported to an unfamiliar realm, Kurumi Tokisaki notices a white cat but the brief encounter ends with them separating. Later, Kurumi encounters Hibiki Higoromo, a pale-haired quasi-spirit who reveals they are embroiled in a lethal competition among quasi-spirits. In this Neighboring World, participants vie in a death-match where only the final survivor is granted one wish. Acknowledging the contest's terms, Kurumi and Hibiki agree to cooperate temporarily, forming an uneasy alliance as they navigate the rules and dangers of the killing game.
