Synopsis

Kou Kitamura and Aoba Tsukishima maintain a contentious relationship despite their families’ close ties and joint business. Kou, raised as the sole child of a sporting goods proprietor, displays remarkable batting skill developed from frequent practice at the batting center managed by Aoba’s family, yet he lacks interest in joining the sport. Aoba, by contrast, is passionate about baseball and stands out for his pitching talent. Both are drawn to Wakaba Tsukishima, Aoba’s older sister and the object of Kou’s affection, whose presence intensifies their ongoing rivalry. Admiring and often provoked by Wakaba, the pair face personal struggles that their involvement with baseball may help them address, as their differences and shared feelings gradually reveal deeper common ground.
