Synopsis

A humorous adventure centers on the Kasukabe Defense Forces—Shinnosuke and his friends Kazama, Nene, Masao, and Bo—who decide to sneak out to a major local food festival, the B-class Gourmet Carnival, to try a celebrated yakisoba sauce prepared by a cook known as Sauce’s Ken. Along their route a mysterious woman entrusts them with a fabled sauce that must reach Sauce’s Ken. As they travel toward the event, the group becomes sidetracked into the mountains, where they encounter opposition from the A-class Gourmet Organization, a group determined to eradicate B-class cuisine and seize the sauce. The story balances playful camaraderie and appetite-driven curiosity with the looming threat posed by those who oppose the carnival’s humble culinary traditions.
