Synopsis

A musical slapstick centers on the Nohara family and their beloved dog Shiro, blending comic chaos with heartfelt familial bonds. While vacationing in Okinawa, Shiro becomes attached to a mysterious saucer-like object. That device turns out to be a weapon created by the self-styled "Only Buttocks Aliens," capable of planetary annihilation. As a space-monitoring agency called UNTI detects the threat, a female militant troupe known as the Hinageshi Opera Company seeks to seize the device and obstruct UNTI's efforts. The film intersperses scenes with songs, balancing uproarious physical comedy and emotional moments about the ties between the family and their pet, while avoiding major plot revelations.
