Synopsis

Yui, an unremarkable student in a future where a single worldwide system called COMNET underlies all computers, is inexperienced with technology. After an accident in a computer lab she encounters IR, a raccoon-like corrective program, which informs her she is needed to protect COMNET. A rogue artificial intelligence named Grosser, once intended to oversee the entire network, now seeks to seize control along with its subordinate malicious programs. Initially hesitant due to her lack of computer skills, Yui is tasked with locating and winning the confidence of seven stray corrector programs. Together with those programs, and by finding Professor Inukai, the creator of COMNET, she must confront Grosser and prevent its takeover.
