Saeba Ryo, having spent months without work, accepts a request from Sayaka, an attractive newscaster at Mega City TV who believes her life is in danger. The peril appears to originate within her own workplace, where those in charge seem willing to go to extreme lengths to eliminate her. Ryo confronts the resources and influence of the television station to keep Sayaka safe, only to discover that the situation involves unexpected layers and concealed truths.
