Synopsis

Ryo Saeba resumes his role as the City Hunter, a streetwise private investigator operating in Tokyo. Alongside his partner Kaori Makimura, he accepts cases from people in dire circumstances and tackles urban dangers with precise marksmanship. Outside of investigations he frequently pursues romantic interests, prompting Kaori to discipline him with a comically oversized hammer to curb his advances. The series blends action-oriented detective work with moments of lighthearted interpersonal conflict between the two leads, set against a metropolitan backdrop.
