Synopsis

Mei Onigami discovers an odd round being in her home that utters a single word. Her sisters, Mutsumi and Hazuki, consent to care for it until its owner appears. When the word "hell" is spoken, additional similar creatures emerge until a dozen have gathered, and their presence opens a portal that brings an emissary from the underworld. Jabberwock the Eighth, a horned, fanged, fur-covered man tasked by his superior to bring a living hell to Earth, arrives but finds human life more difficult than expected. The Onigami sisters allow him to remain with them and also shelter the round Chimimoryo spirits that came before him. Nicknamed Jigoku-san by the sisters, the envoy faces the challenge of fulfilling his mission while coping with ordinary human daily struggles.
