In a body ravaged by unhealthy habits, biological processes are under constant strain. Pathogens, harmful agents, and overwhelming internal stressors make routine cellular tasks perilous. Two seasoned cells, Sekkekkyuu AA2153 and Hakkekkyuu U-1196, operate within this hazardous internal landscape, committed to their roles despite witnessing many colleagues perish while on duty. Placed in a setting that departs sharply from the original series’ tone, the story follows these cells’ daily efforts to sustain bodily function as the host’s condition steadily worsens. The narrative centers on their perseverance, the escalating threats they face, and the uncertain impact their sacrifices may have on the overall health of the organism.
