Three sisters—Rui, Hitomi, and Ai—operate a small café named Cat's Eye during daylight hours. Behind the façade of their everyday business, they assume the identity of the elusive thief known as "Cat's Eye" to steal paintings and other works of art. Their objective is investigative rather than acquisitive: they hope that recovering pieces connected to the artist Michael Heintz will provide leads about his disappearance. The sisters combine careful planning, skill, and secrecy in these heists, driven by familial concern and the urgency of finding their missing father. Complicating their efforts is Hitomi's romantic involvement with Toshi, a police inspector who is determined to apprehend Cat's Eye; he remains unaware that Hitomi is living a double life. The series balances undercover operations, the emotional stakes of a family's search for a lost parent, and the tension arising from a loved one's opposing role in law enforcement.
