Synopsis

Ryo Saeba, renowned as the leading City Hunter, takes on a protection assignment for model Ai Shindo after she is assaulted. Working alongside his partner Kaori, Ryo must guard Ai while an array of mercenaries begins to converge on Shinjuku. Shinji Mikuni, head of an IT firm that selected Ai for its advertising campaign and an old acquaintance of Kaori, becomes entwined in the case. As an influential arms dealer brings a dangerous new weapon into Japan, tensions rise and the relationship between Ryo and Kaori strains under the mounting threats and Mikuni’s involvement.
