Synopsis

On a rainy afternoon the Detective Boys observe a homicide across the road. Traffic prevents pursuit, and a dying detective manages to leave Conan Edogawa a lone clue. Days later a second detective is discovered slain in a parking area, unsettling the police force. With suspicion falling inward, any officer lacking an alibi becomes a person of interest. Despite heightened vigilance, the assailant remains one step ahead and launches another assault in which Ran Mouri becomes a victim. Ran regains consciousness in hospital suffering from retrograde amnesia and cannot recall her life. Released home, she grapples with the void in her memory and fears that, without recovering what she lost, she will be targeted again for what she witnessed. Surrounded by protective friends and family, Ran depends on Conan’s efforts to assemble the scattered evidence and identify the murderer before they strike another time.
