Synopsis

The fourth film expands a familiar Japan–Europe rivalry into a global tournament featuring four squads: Japan, the United States, an all-Europe selection, and an all–South America side. Japan opens with a decisive 3–0 win over the U.S., while Europe falls 2–3 to South America. The South American team unveils an extraordinary player, Carlos Santana, whose seemingly unbeatable abilities render signature moves like Hyuga’s Tiger Shot and Tsubasa’s Top Spin ineffective. Facing that challenge, the Japanese side struggles but gradually develops greater cohesion on the field. Through increasingly unified play and perseverance, they manage to overcome Santana’s dominance and secure victory in a hard-fought, dramatic match.
