Synopsis

An elementary school boy, Tsubasa Oozora, centers his life around soccer. What began as casual play becomes an all-consuming ambition, driving him to relocate with his mother to Nankatsu, a town renowned for strong youth soccer programs. There he confronts tougher opponents than he knew before and must rely on his developing skills to distinguish himself. Along the way he meets teammates and competitors who shape his journey, including a supportive girl, Sanae Nakazawa, and a gifted goalkeeper, Genzo Wakabayashi, whose shared dedication makes him a key ally. Tsubasa's ultimate aim is to wear Japan's colors at the FIFA World Cup, yet achieving that goal will demand far more than natural ability alone.
