Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Maika Sakuranomiya wants financial independence to study overseas, but her unintended stern expression when she smiles costs her repeated job opportunities. After another rejection, she discovers Café Stile, a themed coffee shop where staff adopt exaggerated personae while serving patrons. Dino, the Italian manager, is immediately taken by Maika and hires her to portray a sadistic waitress. Despite being naturally clumsy, Maika adapts to the role and successfully tends to customers who respond to her new demeanor. With coworkers Kaho Hinata taking on a tsundere role and Mafuyu Hoshikawa playing the younger-sister type, Maika embraces the chance to use her distinctive smile as an asset and secures her place at the café through her relentless characterization.
