Synopsis

In the summer preceding Ren Mihashi’s entry into high school baseball, Musashino High experiences its own conflict. Naoto Kaguyama, a shorter, established pitcher, grows uneasy after observing freshman Motoki Haruna’s intense training regimen. Concerned that Haruna’s dedication and ability could cost him the starting role, Kaguyama seeks to learn what drove Haruna to join a struggling program and considers how to elevate the team so it better suits a player of Haruna’s caliber. The story focuses on their rivalry, motivations, and efforts to strengthen the squad without revealing future outcomes.
