Synopsis

Ren Mihashi, once labeled his middle school’s ace, leaves after repeated defeats and peer mistreatment that destroyed his self-confidence. Hoping to avoid baseball, he enrolls at a distant high school, only to be persuaded into the new team as their starting pitcher. Initially reluctant, Mihashi finds at Nishiura High an environment where his teammates accept him without judgment. With steady support from catcher Takaya Abe, who recognizes Mihashi’s latent ability, he gradually regains faith in his skills. Abe sets a clear objective: to develop Mihashi into a pitcher who can genuinely be called an ace, guiding him through the emotional and athletic steps needed to reclaim his sense of worth.
