Synopsis

Three years following the end of their previous journey, Lafiel Abriel and Jinto Linn are reunited: Lafiel commands the attack vessel Basroil while Jinto serves as her supply officer. When hostilities resume between the Abh Empire and the Triple Alliance, the relatively untested pair find themselves placed at the center of a lethal campaign. The renewed conflict pits pure humanity against the Abh—an engineered people—forcing both sides to confront that the struggle transcends mere land and resources and instead hinges on resolving profound, intrinsic differences between them.
