Synopsis

Yuu Yuutani, a compliant and unremarkable first-year high school student, quietly admires Atori Mizutori, an upperclassman who serves as the school's Public Decency Officer. Believing that adopting a delinquent image is the surest way to earn Atori’s attention, Yuu alters her appearance with dyed streaks, faux piercings, and exaggerated shoe modifications. Despite guidance from her naturally delinquent friend Suzu Suzukaze, Yuu’s attempts to appear rebellious repeatedly fail. Nevertheless, she forms a bond with Atori and resolves to spend as much time together as possible, unaware that others also seek Atori’s favor. Her efforts also attract the interest of the school’s self-styled idol, Rura Ruriha, bringing Yuu a level of visibility and social complication she never experienced before.
