In a friendly chess contest between sister ships, Queen Elizabeth stakes her title for a single day, certain of her continued dominance. Valiant unexpectedly wins and seizes the brief opportunity to occupy the role she deeply desires. On that designated day, Elizabeth experiences the routines and perspective of serving rather than ruling, while Valiant confronts the heavy responsibilities and stress that accompany being a queen. In a separate episode, delegates from all nine Azur Lane factions prepare for the long-anticipated convention, but with Queen Elizabeth and Iris Libre's Richelieu absent during a key planning session, their factions find themselves without a place at the event. Determined that the international gathering succeed for the commander they all care for, Queen Elizabeth steps in to persuade the other factions to make concessions so everyone can participate.
