Synopsis

Annie Leonhart needs someone to conceal a necessary absence from her record and turns to fellow soldier Hitch Dreyse. Hitch agrees to help only if Annie takes on a stalled disappearance investigation involving Carly Stratmann, a recent university graduate and daughter of wealthy businessman Elliot Stratmann. Given a single day and navigating the criminal elements beneath the Stohess District, Annie must pursue leads that deepen the mystery: an illegal drug called coderoin appearing in the neighborhood, possible concealment by Elliot, and the unknown whereabouts of Carly. Concurrently, Mikasa Ackerman, consumed by anxiety over Eren Yeager, revisits memories of conversations with Armin Arlert, her care for friends, and a near-catastrophic loss. As fear mounts, she experiences an alternate version of her past in which some moments shift—raising the question of whether there are pivotal events she cannot change, even within a dreamlike reliving.
