Synopsis

With winter drawing close, apprentice priestess Myne prepares for an extended stay at the church and an important Dedication Ceremony. Her exceptional mana reserves and wide-ranging knowledge have made her a target for dangerous parties eager to exploit her. To ensure her safety, the Head Priest assigns a guardian and urges that she be taken in by a noble family, a move that would separate her from her birth family. Myne resists this plan, prompting the Head Priest to issue an ultimatum: she may remain with her relatives until she is ten, but if she proves too unstable she will face immediate consequences. Confronted with limited options, Myne is uncertain about what lies ahead. Nonetheless, she resolves to protect those she cares about, even if doing so requires sacrificing her personal aspirations.
