Synopsis

Urano Motosu cherished literature and longed to spend her life surrounded by books. Her pursuit of a librarian’s role is cut short by a fatal accident, and in her final moments she wishes for another chance to read. She awakens in a medieval setting as Myne, a delicate five-year-old who immediately seeks reading material but encounters a world where books are rare and costly because each must be copied by hand. Although written works are largely confined to noble circles, Myne’s determination remains intact: rather than accept the scarcity, she sets out to secure access to books and, if necessary, produce them herself, driven by an unyielding passion for reading.
