Synopsis

With the summer concert concluded and the third-year students stepping away, Umimaku High School’s Orchestra Club reorganizes around a younger core to set its sights on the national contest. The ensemble now relies heavily on second-year musicians, who must adapt to new responsibilities and expectations. As rehearsals continue, the group confronts inconsistent dedication and varying familiarity with the pieces, creating a noisy, unsettled atmosphere that hampers progress. Members strive to align their individual playing and deepen their shared musical understanding in pursuit of a coherent, expressive ensemble sound, even as internal challenges test their ability to realize that goal.
