Synopsis

Cheng Ke, once raised in comfort, finds himself stripped of his previous life and reduced to scavenging for his lost belongings. A heated moment leads to a violent encounter with gang leader Jiang Yuduo, who later turns out to be the landlord of Cheng Ke's new, cramped residence. Helpless with everyday tasks, Cheng Ke grows reliant on Jiang Yuduo's assistance, and their interactions evolve into a complex, hard-to-define connection. Beneath the surface of their developing closeness, both men carry unresolved histories that continue to affect them. They also face external threats: shadowy figures tail their movements, rival factions fight in the streets they traverse, and various adversaries seek their downfall. Against this backdrop of danger and lingering wounds, Cheng Ke and Jiang Yuduo learn to depend on one another for survival and protection.
