Synopsis

On the day her family moves into a new home, five-year-old Ami finds a hidden door in her bedroom floor that opens into Animal Yokocho, a parallel realm inhabited by talking creatures. She quickly becomes acquainted with three residents: Issa, a gentle, soft-spoken panda whose innocence is evident; Kenta, a tense bear who maintains a continual tough-guy persona and favors a red scarf; and Iyo, a rabbit who prioritizes her own comfort and fun even when it risks her companions. Despite her young age, Ami is the most sensible member of the group; initially cautious, she gradually grows close to the trio and spends her free time with them. Their days together consist of seemingly ordinary pastimes that AniYoko transforms into bizarre, less logical, and frequently more perilous variations of those activities, subjecting Ami to unexpected dangers amid the whimsical atmosphere.
