Synopsis

Zagan, a powerful yet youthful sorcerer aiming to join the thirteen Archdemons after the passing of the eldest member, attends an estate auction and is unexpectedly struck by affection when he sees Nephelia, a rare elf sold into slavery. He abruptly spends his funds to bring her to his stronghold, seeking to keep her by his side. Nephelia carries a secretive and unsettling history that Zagan gradually must investigate. Unfamiliar with intimate emotions, Zagan often responds awkwardly as he learns to interact with someone he cares for, frequently addressing her with the nickname Nephy. Over time their relationship deepens, and signs emerge that Nephelia’s own feelings may mirror his, even as questions about her past persist.
