Synopsis

Futaba Ooki, who grew up in a large urban environment, records much of her life through photographs on her phone. After relocating to a tranquil seaside town, she becomes absorbed by the ocean’s broad horizon and the sense of potential it evokes. Her quiet reverie is noticed by Hikari Kohinata, a local passionate about diving. When they become classmates, Hikari—attracted to Futaba’s reserved nature—gently dubs her “Teko,” and the two begin a gentle friendship. As Futaba adjusts to a slower rhythm of life, Hikari’s exuberance and love of diving pull her into new experiences. The pair join their school’s diving club, supervised by homeroom teacher Mato Katori, and Futaba gradually pursues certification while forming new bonds and encountering fresh possibilities.
