Synopsis

In a near-future setting, motorized inline skates called Air Trecks have become a nationwide phenomenon. Though each pair is fitted with a limiter, a subculture of thrill-seekers known as the Storm Riders disables them to push performance limits. These riders compete in clandestine street battles where teams stake valuable components or their emblem—tokens of their honor—to assert dominance. Itsuki Minami, a middle schooler with a reputation for fighting and an urge to exceed limits, lives with a reckless determination to soar higher than others. Alongside his close friends Kazuma Mikura and Onigiri, he confronts dangers and obstacles without hesitation. When Itsuki uncovers a pair of Air Trecks at home, he finds a tangible route toward his ambition: to command the skies and make his mark within the competitive, hazardous world of AT racing.
