Synopsis

After a space colony declared independence and sparked the catastrophic 7th Space War, Earth suffered when colonial forces dropped many habitats onto the planet, triggering a seven-year nuclear winter and the collapse of the original Earth Federation. The Space Revolutionary Army could not follow through with an invasion despite the devastation. Fifteen years later, in After War 0015, a new Earth Federation has formed to restore stability while colonies rebuild their own military strength in orbit. By chance, fifteen-year-old Garrod Ran uncovers an abandoned Federation mobile suit, the Gundam X. He takes control of it and joins the crew of the freighter Vulture ship Freeden, using the Gundam to assist them as they work to prevent history from repeating itself and to navigate the fragile postwar balance between Earth and space.
