Synopsis

Seidou High School's baseball squad consists of a hundred boys united by their passion for the game, each aiming to become the team's Ace. Beyond the central figures, many players pursue that coveted role, confronting personal limitations and emotional struggles as they work to improve. Ryousuke Kominato stands out for his sharp defensive play and an imposing demeanor despite his small frame. Alongside his teammate Youichi Kuramochi, he helps anchor Seidou's defense. Youichi contends with the presence of his younger brother Haruichi, who both admires Ryousuke and demonstrates notable talent himself. Eijun Sawamura, Youichi's roommate, and others reflect on the experiences that led them to Seidou, tracing the relationships and hardships that shape their journey toward becoming better players.
