Synopsis

After a misthrown pitch costs him his final middle school game, Eijun Sawamura and his friends pledge to reach the national high school baseball tournament. A scout notices Eijun’s unconventional throwing style and offers him a place at Seidou High in Tokyo. Bolstered by his teammates’ support, Eijun accepts the chance to train and face a higher level of competition. At Seidou, he finds himself among many skilled players and struggles to secure his role. He vows to become the team’s ace, but a rival first-year, Satoru Furuya, arrives with blistering fastballs and an early spot in the starting rotation. With these new additions strengthening an already strong lineup, Seidou sets its sights on becoming Japan’s top high school team, confronting numerous tough opponents along the way.
