Synopsis

After ten years fighting the encroaching Shadow Labyrinth, mage Desir Herrman and five allies defeat the dragon of destruction, Boromir Napolitan, but the dragon's stored mana erupts and wipes out the world. Instead of perishing, Desir is propelled a decade into the past with full recall of what occurred. Enrolling at Hebrion Academy, he resolves to address the entrenched class divisions in the magical community that lead toward humanity's annihilation. Despite topping his entrance cohort, Desir is placed in Beta Class, the track for commoners, which forces him to confront institutional prejudice from the outset. His immediate task is to save Romantica Eru, a wind mage he failed to protect before, and to assemble a capable party that can demonstrate their abilities to the Alpha Class. With foresight from his previous life, Desir seeks to change allies' fates and steer events away from the disastrous outcome he remembers.
