Synopsis

Centuries after cataclysmic events wiped out most life on the planet Zi, human settlements slowly resurface by salvaging remnants of old technology from the depths. In a small village that reveres a massive blade as a sacred relic, a teenage salvager recovers a buried Liger-class Zoid during an underwater expedition. When skeletal Bio-Zoids assault the settlement to seize a vital power generator, the youth activates the resurrected Liger and realizes the village’s holy sword is, in fact, the machine’s weapon. Together, boy and Zoid drive back the attackers, at least for the moment, as the fragile reconstruction of civilization continues amid lingering threats.
