Synopsis

On the remote desert world of Zi, a youth named Van explores an abandoned, run-down complex and discovers an opaque cocoon that spontaneously splits open to reveal a dinosaur-like mechanical lifeform. Van names the machine Zeke and claims it, but local bandits, who pilot combat-ready beastlike machines called Zoids, attempt to take the Organoid by force. To repel them, Van reactivates and merges with an old Zoid known as the Shield Liger. Returning to the facility with Zeke, Van finds a second cocoon; when it opens, a girl emerges who remembers only her name, Fiona, and a mission to find something called the Zoid Eve. With limited memories and a drive to learn her past, Fiona joins Van and Zeke. Together the trio sets out across Zi, confronting hostile opponents, forming alliances, and encountering moments of levity as they pursue the truth about Fiona’s origins and the nature of the Zoid Eve.
