Synopsis

After a devastating result at the Grand Prix Finale, 23-year-old Yuuri Katsuki goes back to his family’s home to consider his future in figure skating. With limited time left to reclaim his competitive standing and personal habits undermining his progress, Yuuri's prospects appear uncertain. When a clip of him executing a routine associated with five-time world champion Victor Nikiforov spreads online, Victor shows up at Yuuri’s doorstep and proposes to coach him. Thrilled to be mentored by his idol, Yuuri begins working to reenter the international circuit. He faces intense rivalry, particularly from the determined young Russian skater Yuri Plisetsky, who aims to surpass Yuuri and win Victor’s guidance for himself.
