Synopsis

In Alfheim, an all-female elf civilization confronts a crisis as the Shrine, which supplies their magical energy, begins to wane and threatens their continued existence. A prophecy speaks of a man from another realm who can reverse their decline, and he soon appears in their world. Faced with dwindling prospects, the elves debate how to respond: some reject the proposal to rely on the outsider for reproduction, while others accept it as a grim necessity. Those who choose cooperation discover an unexpected physiological effect—intimacy with the man enhances their magical abilities—leading them to repeatedly rely on him to replenish their power. This situation divides the community and forces each group to confront difficult moral and practical choices as they seek to ensure the survival of their people.
