Synopsis

22-ji no Annaibito: After her dog Choco dies, a girl named Chiyo cannot accept the loss and falls asleep, awakening in the Night World. There she meets Yoru, a guide through the realm of night, and as Chiyo faces her sorrow the previously starless landscape begins to brighten. 26-ji no Sagashimono: Lifelong friends Hina and Tsumugi share an exchange diary. When Tsumugi, hurt by Hina’s wish to include a new friend, discards the diary and falls asleep, she finds herself at the entrance to a labyrinth in the Night World. Rejecting Yoru’s assistance at first, Tsumugi searches for a way out and is instead forced to confront feelings of isolation. 4-ji no Tegami: Akatsuki dreads the coming morning amid frustration with her stalled artistic ambitions. While discarding her work she discovers an old sketchbook containing a letter from a former friend who once inspired her. As she sifts through her things she recalls that person’s identity and may rekindle her waning dedication to painting.
