Synopsis

Hana, a diligent college student, becomes romantically involved with a mysterious man who attends one of her classes despite not being enrolled. He is revealed to be nonhuman: on full moon nights he becomes a werewolf, the last of his kind. Their relationship endures, and they form a family. Hana gives birth to two children—Ame, born in the rain, and Yuki, born in the snow—both inheriting the ability to shift into wolves from their father. When her partner dies suddenly, Hana is left to raise their unusual children alone. Confronted with the difficulties of caring for wild-natured youngsters in a crowded city while concealing their true nature, she chooses to relocate to the countryside so Ame and Yuki can grow up away from societal scrutiny. The story follows Hana’s struggles and resilience as a single mother navigating an often unforgiving modern world.
