Synopsis

Long ago, witches sometimes wed familiars who could assume human form, producing a line of ogres. Morihito Otogi is one such descendant: outwardly normal in appearance but possessing extraordinary physical power tied to his heritage. Nico Wakatsuki, his childhood friend and a young witch, left to study at the Witches' Holy Land as part of her training. She comes back years later with a clear intention—to name Morihito as her familiar. Rather than choosing an animal companion, Nico sets her sights on him personally. Although Morihito does not fully grasp her deeper feelings at first, the two begin sharing a home while his parents are away. Hesitant initially, Morihito accepts the role and dedicates himself to helping Nico adjust to life among humans and shielding her from looming misfortune.
