Synopsis

Coco, the daughter of a modest dressmaker, has long been captivated by magic and the elusive witches who guard its secrets. Seizing an opportunity, she secretly observes the skilled witch Qifrey and discovers that a cherished picture book conceals genuine spellcraft. Eager to experiment, Coco begins practicing the spells but accidentally triggers a calamity at home. Qifrey intervenes and, seeing potential, takes her under his guidance. He hopes Coco might help him locate the Brimmed Caps, a hostile faction that manipulates bodies with outlawed magic and distributes enchanted items among ordinary people. Before they can confront that threat, Coco must develop her abilities and learn to work alongside Qifrey’s other apprentices.
