Synopsis

Born into a family famed for preserving books, high schooler Mifuyu lives amid volumes and a celebrated local library founded by her great-grandfather. Despite the town’s deep reading culture, she harbors an aversion to books. When a theft at the family library activates an old curse, Mifuyu is compelled to retrieve the missing works by stepping into the narratives themselves. Guided by the enigmatic Mashiro, she undertakes the task of restoring her ancestor’s collection and preventing the occult threat from consuming her community.
