Synopsis

Wakaba Kohashi, raised in privilege and accustomed to protection, wishes to adopt the lively, carefree persona of a fashionable gyaru. Entering high school determined to transform herself, she meets classmates who contrast and complement her: the innocent Moeko Tokita, the composed Nao Mashiba, and the quirky Mao Kurokawa. The quartet quickly forms a close circle, exchanging habits and perspectives as they try on aspects of one another’s lifestyles. Their days unfold through commonplace school events—festivals, outings to a waterpark, gym assessments—and through those moments Wakaba gets a taste of ordinary student life while her friends gain insight into the routines of an affluent household. Through shared experiences and mutual influence, the four navigate adolescence together, making the most of each day without revealing pivotal plot developments.
