Synopsis
Presumed dead, Mo Fan reappears and draws his childhood friend Zhang Xiaohou into a dangerous mission to harvest the soul of a colossal lizard to offset the lingering effects of his demonic powers. Back in human form, he stays with his stepsister Ye Xinxia in Song City, where a towering snake looms over the skyline. Seeking answers, Mo Fan consults his teacher Tang Yue, who brings him to her island and explains her connection to the creature; Mo Fan agrees to safeguard the serpent in return for its valuable shed skin. Amid these events, the White Eagle demon assaults the Western fortress and a contagious illness spreads from Bai City toward Song City. As suspicion targets the giant snake, Mo Fan resolves to clear it by locating the actual origin of the disease and finding a cure.
