Synopsis

A millennium hence, civilization bears remnants of past eras while monsters freely traverse the landscape; people live simply despite access to advanced arms and cybernetic steeds. In a small village beset by frequent monster raids, the populace endures the dominance of Count Magnus Lee, an ancient vampire who has governed the region for millennia. After the Count bites a young woman and marks her as his latest plaything, she turns to a lone drifter known only as D. D, a taciturn figure reputed as one of the foremost vampire hunters, accepts her plea and pushes through the Count’s network of followers and guardians with the aim of ending Magnus Lee’s long-standing reign.
