Synopsis

Ning Yuan, shaken after barely surviving a lethal ambush, wakes restrained by a threatening gangster, He Zhiyang, and accompanied by the distraught physician Su Jin. Before he can fully process his ordeal, the group realizes their true peril: they are marooned on a remote island plagued by contagious agents, grotesque mutations, and aggressive tribal inhabitants. At the same time, a separate party in the vicinity confronts the same isolation and hazards. Pressed to survive, the two factions must set aside personal grievances and conflicting aims, forging a fragile cooperation to navigate the island’s biological threats, savage inhabitants, and the internal tensions that risk undermining their collective escape.
