Synopsis

Ayu Tateishi, a well-liked second-year middle school student, prefers practicality and carefully maintains a composed image to attract her crush, Tetsushi Kaji. Her routine is disrupted when Nina Sakura, a transfer student who is secretly a witch, arrives. Ayu becomes the sole confidante of Nina’s magic, which is performed via a small computer, and is obliged to assist Nina in locating five Holy Stones that will enable marriage to the Magic Kingdom’s prince. Nina’s limited magical skill and tendency to interfere in Ayu’s private affairs create repeated difficulties as Ayu struggles to protect her reputation and Nina works to conceal her abilities from Hiroki Tsujiai, Tetsushi’s friend and a keen manga enthusiast. As Nina’s quest draws figures from the Magic Kingdom—both allies and opponents—Ayu is pulled into an unfamiliar realm of enchantment and complications she never anticipated.
