Synopsis

Uryuu Kamihate, shaped by his mother's death, becomes skeptical of divine influence and resolves to pursue medicine, dedicating himself to study for admission to Kyoto University. Seeking quieter accommodations away from his orphanage, he is offered lodging at the Amagami residence by Chidori Amagami, the shrine's chief priest. Uryuu must share the home with Chidori's three granddaughter shrine attendants—Yae, Yuna, and Asahi—and accept Chidori's stipulation that he marry one of them to secure the shrine's succession. This arrangement sets up a tension between Uryuu's pragmatic, secular ambitions and the sisters' spiritual roles, creating a difficult situation that tests his priorities and convictions without revealing future outcomes.
