Synopsis

In folklore, certain household items can become sentient spirits: longstanding companions evolve into mature tsugumomo, while unstable, wish-driven entities called amasogi arise to fulfill harmful desires. Kazuya Kagami clings to his deceased mother's obi, never leaving it behind. After a near-fatal attack by a wig-type amasogi, his obi awakens to protect him, manifesting as a striking young woman named Kiriha, who reveals herself to be his mother's tsugumomo. Her emergence pulls Kazuya into an unfamiliar realm populated by divine beings and tsukumogami, where he must confront the realities and dangers of that hidden world.
