Synopsis

On the mechanical world of Cybertron, sentient robotic beings called Transformers are organized into factions, including convoy forces, the Cybertron army, and their longstanding foes, Destron. Conflict erupts when a novel form of power emerges in the form of Microns, a distinct class of Transformers whose arrival intensifies the struggle. Grieving the toll of the fighting, the Microns depart for the far reaches of the universe. Four million years later on Earth, three children exploring a cave activate an enigmatic panel, unintentionally reawakening a Micron that had been dormant. The narrative follows the consequences of this discovery and its ties back to the ancient conflict among Cybertron’s factions.
